Job summary

Chord Energy Corporation is seeking a Lease Operator to operate and maintain a designated group of wells in Robinson Lake, ND. The role oversees daily production, equipment performance and compliance with EH&S guidelines.

The schedule is 8 days on, 6 days off, with wage commensurate with experience. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 21+ for vehicle insurance eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Live within 75-mile radius of Robinson Lake, ND.
• Must be 21+ for Company motor vehicle insurance.
• HAZWOPER certification and H2S training required.
• Petroleum Production Certificate or similar education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measures and records production at the well site.
• Provides routine maintenance checks to equipment and machinery.
• Conducts routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment and machinery.
• Reports changes in individual well performance.
• Reports concerns about the well, well site or equipment.
• Communicates with production foreman and superintendents on operating issues.
• Coordinates oil sales and water disposal.
• Treats oil to meet pipeline/equipment specifications.
• Assures compliance with governmental requirements and company policies.
• Operate and understand POCs, rod pumps and flowing wells.
• Drive safely to and from wells and well sites.
