NDE technicians perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) including visual, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant examinations, ultrasonic testing, and metallurgical replication. These inspections are performed on boilers, piping, steam turbines, vessels and related critical components primarily in the power, chemical, food processing and paper mill industries across North America. Additionally, Thielsch performs scheduled mechanical maintenance and weld repairs in these facilities.
This position is based out of our Austin, TX location.
Overnight travel will be required. Transportation, lodging and meal allowance will be provided for out-of-town assignments.
Strict adherence to OSHA's, Thielsch's and customer's safety processes and procedures is mandatory.
Applicants with up-to-date NDT certifications or related work experience are eligible to earn premium pay.
