Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Danville, IL, is seeking a Product & Field Engineer to act as the primary technical liaison with clients and production plants. This role involves investigating field failures, overseeing project management, and ensuring product feasibility. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of product engineering experience. Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in product engineering.
• Experience in improvement with competencies in lean production, Six Sigma, and TPM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison between clients and production plants worldwide.
• Investigate field failures and damaged parts.
• Work with Process Engineering to ensure production is feasible.
• Oversee technical assessments for customer quotes and manage timelines.
• Attend daily meetings to discuss quality investigations and new product development.
