Job summary

Escambia County Sheriff's Office seeks a disciplined individual to receive, review, and organize documents for service. You will perform service attempts, locate named parties using research methods, and maintain detailed records and monthly reports.

Responsibilities include representing the department in court when subpoenaed, operating a two-way radio, and coordinating with staff during emergencies. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) is required.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Basic knowledge of county geography and research methods is expected.
  • Experience in customer service and handling sensitive information is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receives, reviews, prioritizes, and organizes documents for service.
  • Makes attempts to effect service on named parties and maintains service records.
  • Obtains locations of named parties using research techniques.
  • Maintains monthly statistical reports and related logs.
  • Represents the department in court when subpoenaed and testifies on service performed.
