Job summary

ICW Group is seeking a Field Premium Auditor to conduct field audits and determine premium exposures for policy coverages. The role requires auditing employer payroll records, classifications, and ensuring accurate premiums while delivering excellent customer service in Northern California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Accounting, Business or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 1–2 years of related experience and/or training in premium audit.
• Must have working knowledge of Commercial Lines policies and experience with WCRIB, NCCI, and other bureaus.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, or legal documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and management; strong time management and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field premium audits for organizational accounts.
• Audit payroll records and classification to determine premium exposures.
• Communicate audit findings and assist insureds through the audit process.
• Resolve issues with reviewers, underwriters, and agents.
• Present audit progress to management and keep current on industry resources.
