Capital Electric is seeking a skilled service technician to perform power quality studies, infrared thermography, and air leak surveys across Virginia and surrounding regions. You will diagnose electrical issues, document findings, and collaborate with sales and operations to implement recommendations.

The role requires experience in electrical maintenance, strong diagnostic abilities, and the ability to work independently in industrial settings.

Competenze

• Experience with electrical testing, preventive maintenance, industrial service work, or facility inspections.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, distribution equipment, and safety practices.
• Familiarity with power quality analyzers, infrared cameras, or ultrasonic leak detection tools (training provided if needed).
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to interpret field data.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently in industrial and commercial environments.
• Electrical or mechanical maintenance certifications.

Mansioni

• Conduct power quality studies using monitoring equipment to diagnose voltage irregularities and load issues.
• Perform infrared thermal scans to identify hot spots and failure risks.
• Carry out air leak detection surveys to support energy-reduction initiatives.
• Document findings, prepare reports, and communicate results to customers and teams.
• Travel to customer locations across the region and manage scheduling.
