Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring for a field service engineer to support electrical customers across the region. You will perform power quality studies, infrared scans, and air leak surveys, documenting findings for customers and internal teams.

The role may be remote or regional with travel across the territory. Candidates should have experience in electrical testing, strong diagnostic skills, and a valid driver's license.

Competenze

• Experience with electrical testing, preventive maintenance, or facility inspections.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, distribution equipment, and safety practices.
• Familiarity with power quality analyzers, infrared cameras, or ultrasonic leak detectors.
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to interpret field data.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently in industrial environments.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Mansioni

• Conduct power quality studies using monitoring equipment to diagnose issues.
• Perform infrared thermal scans to identify hot spots and risks.
• Carry out air leak detection surveys to support energy-reduction initiatives.
• Document findings and communicate results to customers and internal teams.
• Work closely with sales, operations, and supplier partners on corrective actions.
• Maintain service equipment, ensure calibration, and follow safety protocols.
• Travel to customer locations and manage job scheduling.
