Job summary

Multiquip, located in Fullerton, CA, seeks a Service Technician II to perform service, maintenance, testing and repair of MQ Power generation equipment and related systems. You will diagnose issues, replace components, and ensure safe operation in customer environments.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, independent work, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to customers in the field. Hybrid opportunities are not indicated; office-based in Fullerton.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with power generation equipment (2020+).
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel engine generators.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot power generation equipment and identify root causes.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on generators and related accessories.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and technical documentation for repairs.
• Set up portable load bank systems for generator testing and commissioning.
• Inspect and repair fuel, cooling and electrical systems.
• Maintain technician inventory and order parts as needed.
• Document service reports and maintain records accurately.
• Ensure safety and quality in all field activities.
