Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. seeks a Field Preventative Maintenance Technician for a field-based role in Balch Springs, TX. The position is full-time and on-site, with pay dependent on experience and weekly pay cadence.

Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. Candidate should have 6 months of mechanical experience or be enrolled in a technical institute, plus a valid driver's license and DOT card assistance available.

Qualifications

• 6 months of mechanical experience or enrollment in a technical institute.
• Experience with diesel oil changes, lubrication and preventive maintenance.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance like checking fluids and lubricating equipment.
• Assist technicians with routine maintenance, repair and diagnostics.
• Must navigate electronic parts/service manuals and MM System.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventative maintenance on construction rental equipment.
• Assist technicians with maintenance, repair and diagnostics.
• Check fluid levels, change oil, lubricate equipment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure equipment flow and uptime.
