Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a field operations planner support role at the Bagdad, Arizona site. You will assist area Planners with job preparation, execution and follow-up, including field time to ensure material readiness and equipment availability.

This role emphasizes data integrity in SAP, scheduling, reporting, and coordination with Global Supply Chain to manage warehouse levels. A high school diploma or GED with related field experience is acceptable, with SAP/MS Office familiarity

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in supporting field maintenance or operations.
• Associate’s degree in applicable field.
• Experience in SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support the area Planners in all facets of job preparation, execution and follow up as prescribed by the Freeport-McMoRan standards, including time spent “in the field” to ensure readiness and availability of materials and equipment resources.
• Maintain a history for all assigned activities in the management system.
• Under the guidance of the Equipment Reliability Standards (ERS) closely interacts with the Planners in the assigned area to maintain and monitor planned schedules for assigned activities. Attend daily, weekly, and monthly planning meetings with key stakeholders. Review, prioritize and schedule work orders.
• Assist in maintaining the integrity of data in the maintenance management system (SAP).
• Assist Planners in the planning and organization for planned major production shutdowns.
• Assist Planners with generating regular and ad hoc reports
• Engage with onsite Global Supply Chain to control warehouse minimum/maximum levels and appropriate storage conditions of materials and parts.
• Upkeep, monitor and adjust schedules for assigned activities. Maintain these schedules in the management system.
• Organize data to support maintenance management decisions, including departmental budgets and weekly forecasting.
• Perform other duties as needed.
