Job summary

Pilot Water Solutions is seeking a Pipeline Operator to monitor, inspect, and ensure proper operation of disposals in the Wink, TX area, with commuting options near Midland, TX and Jal/Hobbs, NM. The role includes on-call duties, logging, safety compliance, and basic housekeeping.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Must be 18 years of age.
Oil and gas industry experience.
Self-motivated with good time management.
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Valid driver's license and insurability to drive company vehicle.
Able to communicate respectfully across staff and vendors.
Able to be on call as needed.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor, inspect, and ensure proper operation of disposals within assigned area.
Perform equipment maintenance and repairs (leaks, fittings, hoses).
Log documentation electronically and maintain SPCC checklists.
Monitor locations for leaks and hazards; report issues.
Operate SCADA and monitor pressures, temperatures, and flow rates.
Read custody meters, verify readings, and assist with meter proving.
Schedule and perform meter calibrations and instrument tests.
Maintain clean facilities and perform basic housekeeping.
Assist with other duties as assigned by the Field Supervisor.
