Job summary

Standard Safety and Supply is seeking a Pipeline Locator to help maintain and protect our assets across assigned coverage areas while strictly following safety and environmental procedures.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of line locating experience and a high school diploma; an associate degree in natural gas or a related field is preferred. The position involves reading drawings, responding to one calls, and traveling up to 80% to various worksites in Odessa, TX.

Qualifications

• Experience reading drawings, schematics and P&ID drawings.
• Ability to follow state laws and company procedures.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Obtain OQ qualifications to mark underground facilities and process one call tickets.
• Conduct line patrols, respond to one calls, witness line crossings and excavations.
• Read and utilize drawings, schematics, alignment sheets and P&ID drawings.
• Support on-call requirements and maintain compliance records.
• Assist in maintenance activities in ROW, meter stations and future facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
