Acuren is seeking PLI Technicians for a full-time, field-heavy role primarily in the Duluth, MN area, with relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. The job involves extensive fieldwork across the US, with 10% in the home division and 90% in the field, traveling as needed to support pipeline integrity programs.

Responsibilities include direct pipe assessments, writing inspection reports, and ensuring compliance with ASME B31.3 and RSTRENG.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• Technical background desired and field experience in pipeline integrity is advantageous.
• Current MT Level 2 and UT Thickness Level 2 certifications are required.
• NACE CIP/CP Level I preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Adherence to procedures and reporting.
• Direct assessment of pipe condition including coating, soils, and CP.
• Examine for cracks, corrosion, and manufacturing anomalies.
• Correlate pipe features to ILI logs.
• Conduct fit-for-service evaluations per ASME B31.3 and RSTRENG.
• Perform hazard assessments and ensure safe work practices.
• Calibrate and set up NDE equipment.
• Produce pipeline integrity reports and assist others with reporting.
• Maintain databases and manage FTP sites.
• Attend operational meetings with client engineers.
• Assist with dig package and cost estimating.
• Train PLI Assistants and Junior Technicians.
