Job summary

Acuren is seeking full-time PLI Technicians for the Duluth, MN location. The role involves field inspections, data review, and reporting to support pipeline integrity programs, with roughly 90% field work across the US and 10% at the home division.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma, preferably some college, and a strong background in pipeline integrity/NDE. Required: Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2 and Ultrasonic Thickness Level 2, plus one of several certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to procedures and specifications including reports.
• Direct assessment of pipe condition including coating, soils, and CP.
• Direct examination for cracks, corrosion, deformation, and anomalies.
• Correlate features to ILI log.
• Conduct fit-for-service evaluations per ASME B31.3 and RSTRENG.
• Calibrate and set up NDE equipment.
• Produce pipeline integrity inspection reports.
