Job summary

XCEL NDT LLC is seeking a Pipeline Integrity Technician to support the integrity management program and ensure safe, reliable operation of pipeline systems. The role involves inspections, maintenance, and repairs in challenging field conditions.

Ideal candidates have a strong NDT background, attention to detail, safety and regulatory compliance, and the ability to travel extensively (85% or more) to various field locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pipeline integrity or a related field.
• Experience with non-destructive testing methods and inline inspection tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications.
• Willingness to travel 85% or more and work in the field.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine inspections of pipelines using NDT methods.
• Monitor pipeline conditions with inline inspection tools and cathodic protection systems.
• Perform maintenance tasks including coating applications and corrosion control.
• Coordinate repairs including excavation, pipe replacement, and weld inspections.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on findings and actions.
