Job summary

Epcon Partners Inc. is seeking a Pipeline Construction Inspector (Multi-Discipline) to monitor pipeline construction and infrastructure work across multiple disciplines, ensuring compliance with project specs, client standards, and applicable codes.

Field-based inspection covers excavation, welding, coating, hydrotest, flange bolt-up, lifts, I&E, and civil work. Ideal candidates have 5 years of pipeline/construction inspection experience, certifications (API, NACE/AMPP, CWI, OQ) are a plus,

Qualifications

5 years pipeline/construction inspection across multiple disciplines.
Strong knowledge of pipeline codes and client specs.
Solid documentation and reporting skills.
Willing to travel and work in the field.

Responsibilities

Inspect excavation, dirt work, and backfill for grade, depth, and bedding.
Monitor welding and NDE; verify weld quality and documentation.
Oversee coating application; inspect for defects/holidays.
Witness hydrotesting procedures and results.
Inspect flange bolt-up, tie-ins, and hot tap connections.
Monitor mechanical lifts and rigging for safety and compliance.
Inspect civil work, fencing, and site restoration.
Oversee I&E installation and terminations.
Document daily progress, deficiencies, and corrective actions; report to project leadership.
