Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Insulator to install pipe insulation on active construction sites, traveling as required. You will cut, fit, and secure insulation and jacketing while following strict specs and safety rules.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of industrial insulation experience, be able to read schematics, and work in extreme temperatures with full PPE. Travel and long shifts are required, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial pipe insulation.
• Ability to read insulation schematics and technical documentation.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel extensively (10-day tours with long shifts).
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in extreme temperatures with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install pipe insulation per specs.
• Apply vapor barriers and secure jacketing.
• Operate bending brakes, band saws, and banding tools.
• Fabricate insulation kits for valves and equipment.
• Follow drawings, specifications, and site safety rules.
