Job summary

Capital Pump & Equipment in Houston, TX is seeking an entry-level Field Pipe Installer/Crew Member to join our growing team. You will install, set up, and service pumps and equipment on job sites, working with a Crew Leader to grow your career in the equipment rental industry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus or willing to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, set-up, and removal of pumps, piping, and related equipment.
• Operate and maintain small hand and power tools to support job site work.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance tasks.

The Role

We are seeking a Field Pipe Installer/Crew Member to join our growing team in Houston, Texas. In this hands-on, entry-level role, you'll work directly with a Crew Leader to install, set up, and service pumps and equipment on job sites. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, set-up, and removal of pumps, piping, and related equipment.
• Operate and maintain small hand and power tools to support job site work.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance tasks.Maintain professional communication with customers and team members.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift certified is a plus, or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days. CPE will provide training and certification.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• Team player with a safety-first mindset.
• Experience in the rental pump industry is a plus-HDPR fusion experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record required; CDL is a plus!
