Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to work in the Omaha area. The role involves independent work under supervision, maintaining ADS inventory accuracy, and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities include using Pyxis/Omnicell, performing monthly audits, and providing facility reports. Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel within Nebraska. Prior long-term care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Must be local to the Omaha area.
  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
  • One year of pharmacy experience preferred in long-term care.
  • Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
  • Able to troubleshoot ADS problems using various programs.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Basic math and analytical skills.
  • Able to lift light objects.
  • Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Willing to drive long distances in Nebraska.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
  • Maintain accurate information at each ADS (quantity and expiration date).
  • Identify and address discrepancies for proper billing.
  • Replace potentially expiring inventory.
  • Restock depleted inventory.
  • Monthly audits (cycle count).
  • Provide reports for the facility.
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

  • Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor.
  • Maintain active communication with the client facility and pharmacy staff.
  • Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).

  • Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Basic math and analytical skills.
  • Ability to physically perform light lifting.
  • A valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation required.
  • Willing to drive long distances in the State of Nebraska
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, walk, bend, and crouch frequently.
  • Ability to occasionally perform light lifting (up to 20 pounds) and repetitious physical activity.
  • Repetitive computer and phone use.
  • Work is performed in a pharmacy and office environment.
Schedule:
  • 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
