Job summary

Amazon Inc. in Kent, WA is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support kiosk management and in-pharmacy operations. You will drive to remote kiosk locations, refill kiosks, prepare shipments, assist pharmacists, and maintain a clean, compliant pharmacy environment.

The role requires an active Pharmacy Technician license, national certification, and a valid in-state driver’s license. Shifts may extend beyond standard hours, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment is required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations using company vehicle.
• Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medications and paper, clean machines, and collect discarded inventory for return.
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Work with leadership to ensure correct medications are in the correct orders.
• Operate automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
• Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through workflow stages from dispense to quality control.
• Count and label prescription vials and bulk items.
• Pack and ship completed orders with correct labels.
• Sort and triage boxes for shipping.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting and packing.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in the pharmacy.
• Package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Flexible schedule; shifts may start or end outside normal hours.

Education
