Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate collection, review, and preparation of time and pay data for craft and administrative employees within assigned business units.

You will review time entries for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, serve as the local payroll resource, and collaborate with Shared Services Payroll and People Practices to maintain compliant payroll operations and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of payroll processing and timekeeping experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and union agreements preferred.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, validates, and approves employee time entries for payroll processing.
• Identifies and resolves discrepancies in time and pay data, including overtime and leave entries.
• Serves as a primary local payroll contact for inquiries and issue resolution.
• Coordinates payroll corrections with Shared Services Payroll and People Practices.
