Metro Atlanta Ambulance Service in Georgia is seeking a Paramedic to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, provide pre-hospital care, and coordinate the ambulance team's clinical activities. You may drive the vehicle and operate a two-way radio, ensuring documentation is completed after each shift. Requirements: GA Paramedic certification, PALS, High School Diploma or GED, and a valid GA driver’s license; minimum 1 year field experience.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a field Paramedic.
• Paramedic Certification - by the State of Georgia.
• PALS certification required.

Mansioni

• Provide patient care in accordance with company policies, procedures, protocols and standards.
• Maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and other standards of care specific to the level of certification.
• Respond to all assigned calls in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete required documentation and obtain signatures for each call at the end of the shift.
• Operate/maintain life support equipment and log equipment usage per SOPs.
• Coordinate clinical activities of the ambulance team.
• Maintain station duties and ensure equipment and vehicle readiness.
