Job summary

C3 SERVICES, INC. is hiring a General Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial flooring projects in Leeds, AL. Hybrid work with up to 60% travel supports supervision of superintendents, foremen, and installers to ensure on-site safety, quality, and profitability.

You will mentor field crews, read plans, manage budgets, and coordinate with Project Managers and sub-trades to keep projects on track and within scope.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial flooring installation, tile setting, or field supervision experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and manage field personnel and subcontracted labor.
• Strong expertise in commercial flooring systems, substrate preparation, and moisture mitigation.
• Proven ability to read and interpret architectural plans, finish schedules, and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Active OSHA 10‑Hour certification.
• Ability to travel up to 60% and work flexible hours based on project demands.

Responsibilities

• Direct field operations, manpower allocation, and site superintendents across active commercial project sites.
• Conduct pre-installation jobsite inspections to evaluate substrates, moisture levels, and overall site readiness.
• Monitor labor hours and job progress against budgets to maximize productivity and reduce rework.
• Enforce safety policies, OSHA standards, and quality control guidelines on site.
• Provide hands-on coaching and technical training to develop field technicians and future foremen.
• Coordinate daily with Project Managers, general contractors, and sub-trades to resolve jobsite challenges.
