Job summary

Kiewit Power Delivery invites motivated students to join its internship program in the Field Operations department. The internship offers hands-on learning across construction management, project controls, safety, and contract administration in a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment.

Relocation may be required as projects span across the United States; base compensation is hourly and market-competitive for internships in construction.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering or related degree.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read and understand project owner specifications and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Work with a vibrant team to build, estimate, and schedule mechanical, electrical and heavy industrial systems.
• Support administrative and construction activities, review proposals/specifications, drawings, and perform material takeoffs.
• Learn to supervise subcontractors and communicate with vendors.
• Prepare work plans, manage costs and materials, schedule equipment, and support safety programs.
