Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Field Operator in Miami, FL to support plant production operations and maintenance of fixed equipment. The role requires operating the facility to meet efficiencies and safety standards while performing repairs and preventive maintenance.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in aggregate facility operations, with a high school diploma or GED and the ability to work varied shifts. Welding/cutting experience is preferred in this role.

Qualifications

• Be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work scheduled shift hours and be flexible with scheduling, overtime and weekends.
• Must have basic safety awareness and the ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate facility in a production mode and maintain established efficiencies.

• Assist with maintenance/repair and yard loading as needed.

Job Summary

TheOperator is responsible for plant production operations/maintenance and repair of all plant fixed equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate facility in a production mode, maintaining established efficiencies
• Examine and diagnose operational problems, and repairs according to accepted methods, establishes
• Conducts preventative maintenance practices
• Ability to be multi-diversified in performing other related duties such as maintenance/repair, and yard loading when needed
• Able to understand, interpret, and execute instructions given in both verbal and written form
• Schedule or call for repairs and parts
• Recognize potentially hazardous situations
• Adhere to all CEMEX, O.S.H.A., and M.S.H.A rules and regulations at all times
• Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
• Meet or exceed company safety standards
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications
