Job summary

Cemex US in Rialto, CA is seeking an Operator to oversee plant production operations and maintenance of fixed equipment.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support safe, efficient production while adhering to OSHA and MSHA guidelines. This role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience operating and maintaining an aggregate facility.
• Welding and cutting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of conveyor belts, shaker screens, sand screws, and cyclone operations.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, overtime and weekends.

• Meet or exceed company safety standards.

Job Summary

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment
• Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently and 70 pounds occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. Job involves walking or standing for long periods of time
