Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. is seeking an Entry Level Field Operations Technician to join the Projects Controls team.

This role supports field crews on geotechnical projects across North America and offers opportunities for travel and advancement within a leading contractor. You will assist with drawings, measurements, work plans, safety analyses, and coordinating material deliveries while learning from skilled professionals on diverse site projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a construction-related field.
• Previous experience in construction is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as projects vary.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations from measurements and completed work.
• Prepare work plans and work packages.
• Support field surveying and layout activities.
• Assist in Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and safety reviews.
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor operations for projects.
• Support data gathering and submittals to customers and stakeholders.
