Job summary

Dandale Fence, LLC is seeking a Field Operations Team Leader to guide fence installation projects in the Chesapeake area. You will manage daily field activities, ensure adherence to quality standards, and mentor junior crews while serving as the main point of contact for clients on-site.

Ideal candidates have extensive fence installation experience and a proven leadership background, with strong communication skills and a focus on safety and efficiency in field operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fence installation experience.
• Proven experience leading crews.
• Strong understanding of residential fence construction.
• Ability to read layouts and drawings.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to tow trailers and operate equipment.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Preferred: Experience with wood, vinyl, aluminum, chain link, gate construction, OSHA training, bilingual (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day installation activities for assigned fence projects in the Chesapeake area.
• Ensure every fence is installed to high quality standards, paying close attention to measurements and structural integrity.
• Coach and guide junior team members on proper techniques, safety protocols, and efficient work habits.
• Manage on-site materials and equipment, ensuring everything is organized and ready for the job at hand.
• Act as the primary contact for property owners, keeping them informed of progress and addressing any questions they have throughout the install.
• Document project progress and ensure all site work matches the initial client specifications.
