Job summary

Great Lakes Water Authority seeks a Supervisory professional to lead, guide, and train staff within a GLWA facility. You will manage project work, assign tasks, and ensure timely, accurate reporting to meet local, state, and GLWA requirements.

The role emphasizes staff development, safety program support, SOP creation, and performance evaluations, with shift work including evenings, weekends, and emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 1 year in supervisory or leadership role in utility/plant setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan work assignments and manage projects.
• Direct a field team, maintain accurate records of work and timekeeping.
• Prepare reports and logs; develop staff training; support safety programs.
• Attend meetings and prepare SOPs; evaluate staff performance.
• Supervise staff across a facility or unit and handle shifts, including irregular hours.
