Job summary

Southern California Edison seeks a Field Supervisor - Arrowhead to lead construction/maintenance line crews and troublemen, upholding safety and directing work orders. This role reports to the District Manager and drives efficiency, safety, and cost control on projects across the Arrowhead area.

You will mentor teams, coordinate schedules, inspect sites for standards, and liaise with customers and officials to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of combined experience in an electric utility performing or supervising in planning, design, construction, maintenance, standards & development, system operations, field operations, engineering, or construction project management.
• Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Supervises line crews, troublemen, and streetlight repairmen in daily operations, ensuring safety policies are followed.
• Resolves issues promptly and leads corrective actions; conducts field visits to monitor progress and safety.
• Adjusts crew schedules and priorities as needs change; monitors workload and resource use.
• Verifies accuracy of records, crew timesheets, and work order documentation.
• Mentors and coaches employees, building relationships and providing feedback.
• Interacts with customers and officials to complete work and meet timelines.
• Optimizes crew cost efficiency, including overtime management and tailboarding.
