Qualifications

• Thorough five years of professional experience overseeing weekly residential recycling or refuse collection services.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Equivalency: an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Valid Class C driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field operations team, assign work, and conduct performance appraisals.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance and performance.
• Oversee truck inspection and route updates to maintain efficiency.
• Manage food scraps recycling collection and contractor coordination.
• Serve as liaison with residents and other County departments to resolve issues.
• Develop and provide detailed reports to management and contractors.
• Monitor budget targets and advise management on financial implications.
