Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Process Operating Technology or two years of oil and gas plant experience.
• Physically demanding tasks during emergencies and training.
• Effective written and oral communication and good math aptitude.
• Experience in lieu of degree accepted: two years in oil and gas field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, adjust, and record performance of site equipment during operations.
• Visually inspect piping, pump pads, tanks, meter stations for safety and configuration alignment.
• Record inspection results and advise supervision on corrective actions.
• Prepare systems for maintenance, depressurization, and evacuation; operate support equipment.
• Assist with Safe Work Permitting, gas testing, and lock/tag procedures; monitor contractor work.
• Complete Operator Requirement Checks and generate work requests for discrepancies.
• Gauage storage tanks, obtain readings and samples, maintain related records.
• Serve as Emergency Response Team member during incidents and drills.
• Maintain vehicles, portable lights, and generators; backfill other ops positions as needed.
