Job summary

MasTec Utility Services seeks an Operations Manager to lead field operations and administrative management for complex projects. This role reports to senior leaders and interfaces with customers, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams.

You will oversee scheduling, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with policies while driving project profitability and timely invoicing. A strong background in Duke System and power delivery is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in construction or related field with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience working on Duke System.
• Experience in power distribution.
• Preferred: 8+ years with significant supervisory experience.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Experience in Overhead Distribution.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total construction effort to ensure projects are built per design, budget, and schedule.
• Interface with field managers, clients, subcontractors, and owners to assure customer satisfaction.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise activities of all operations' employees on assigned projects.
• Prepare and submit invoicing weekly; manage accounts receivable >51 days.
• Directly supervise 3 to 10 supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety programs.
