Penske Entertainment, based in Indianapolis, is seeking a seasoned Broadcast Operations professional to lead IndyCar broadcasts. You’ll own camera lists, venue layouts, vendor coordination, and day-to-day onsite operations across events.

You’ll collaborate with IndyCar and FOX Sports, manage equipment, quotes, and POs, and supervise seasonal crew. Travel to sanctioned events is required; strong communication and leadership are essential.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role, you’ll be an important part of delivering top-tier IndyCar broadcasts to viewers around the world. You’ll take ownership of key responsibilities, collaborate across departments, and bring energy and innovation to a fast-paced environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create Camera Lists and Maps for each INDYCAR on FOX broadcast
• Layout TV compounds for each IndyCar venue.
• Act as a liaison between IndyCar and FOX Sports to ensure broadcast needs are met.
• Responsibility to secure quotes and order rental equipment or services from our vendors.
• Submitting request for POs is a must prior to signing any rental agreements
• Receive and place heavy equipment at each race track.
• Request broadcast credentials and parking permits for broadcast team.
• Create catering orders with IMSP catering vendor
• Assist in day-to-day onsite broadcast operations at each venue
• Act as a liaison between INDYCAR and Fox Sports to ensure broadcast needs are met
• Other duties as assigned by Sr. Director, Broadcast Operations.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 3-5 years’ experience in broadcast operations
• Current knowledge of live sports broadcasts
• Experience with heavy equipment (i.e. scissor lift, booms, forklifts)

Education:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in communication, broadcasting, or television production is preferred.

Leadership:

• This position provides onsite supervision of seasonal crew assigned IndyCar broadcasts and is responsible for planning, organizing, prioritizing, and overseeing certain broadcast activities.

FLEXIBILITY & TRAVEL

• This position requires travel to all IndyCar sanctioned events and any other client needs as required, the position requires flexibility due to being an event driven business.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Extended periods of standing or walking (as needed)
• Comfort working indoors/outdoors and around event noise
