Hydromax USA is seeking an operations manager for our Crossbore team in Houston, TX. You will oversee labor, productivity, quality metrics, and safety performance for the field staff, ensuring efficient operations and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities include staffing, policy implementation, coaching, performance appraisals, and coordinating with project management to meet budgets and timelines.
Our Crossbore team detects natural gas pipeline intrusions under the ground by deploying robotic crawlers. This position will manage the overall operations and be responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control performance metrics, and safety measures for your team.
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with all regulatory guidelines.
Manage staffing levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues.
Work closely with Project Manager and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, processes, budgets, as well as follow through with implementation.
Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, and train field staff.
Conducting employee performance appraisals; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans, making compensation recommendations, and fostering employee motivation and retention.
Develop operations systems, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for completing work, equipment utilization, and equipment/inventory management .
Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
Communicate with safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA and other governmental regulations and ensure that the project safety goals are met, and training is completed.
Provide daily assistance and resource to the Project Manager as needed.
