Job summary

Hydromax USA is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead day-to-day field operations for our Crossbore team in Houston and surrounding areas. You will oversee field staff, manage staffing, scheduling, and safety performance, and drive labor productivity.

Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and utility partners to ensure cross bore detection, investigation, and remediation meet deadlines and quality standards. A strong focus on OSHA compliance and training is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in related field with 1-2 years in operations management.
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Proficient in using current technology; smartphone, tablets, MS office tools.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Walk up to 5 miles or more per day in various terrain and weather conditions.
• Work in confined spaces, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Travel overnight occasionally depending on project location.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to all Field Operation Managers and Supervisors.
• Manage staffing levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues, recruit, select, train, assign schedules, coach, and train field staff.
• Work with Project Manager and management team to set and implement policies, procedures, budgets, and follow through with implementation.
• Develop operations systems, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for completing work, equipment utilization, and inventory management.
• Communicate with customers and safety department to ensure OSHA and other regulations compliance and safety goals.
