Job summary

Sentinel Peak Resources LLC in Arroyo Grande is seeking a Field Operations Technician to lead and support daily oilfield operations, monitor wells and facilities, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate contractor activities as site leader. You will ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance while maintaining production records.

The role requires 5+ years in oil and gas production, the ability to train others, and strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills in a 24/7

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible oil and gas production operations experience.
• Any combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Prior experience providing training and mentoring is desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain field equipment such as tanks, heaters, LACT units, steam generators, co-generation units, compressors, pumps, and flowlines.
• Inspect wells and facilities; perform maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Communicate issues and variances to supervisors and provide recommendations.
• Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and compliance records with company systems.
• Support production optimization initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Train and mentor field operators in operations, inspection, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
• Act as site operations leader for contractors; ensure safe execution and compliance.
• Comply with Cal/OSHA, environmental and safety requirements; support emergency readiness.
