Job summary

Brightspeed is seeking an experienced Supervisor, Field Operations to lead technicians across service areas, focusing on quality residential and business connectivity. You will manage daily operations, coordinate with contractors, and drive safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction while overseeing rotatable shifts and potential overtime.

Key responsibilities include directing outside/inside plant activities, acting as the liaison between Brightspeed and Contractors, coaching staff,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
4+ years of experience managing telecom teams.
Experience in employee development and union environment.
Proficient with Outlook, Excel, Word; legacy systems.
Knowledge of residential/business services and Local Network processes.
Understanding of splicing/construction in telecom.
Ability to work with others in a consultative, pressured environment.
Experience negotiating timeframes and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Direct daily operation of outside and inside plant network services and technicians.
Serve as single point of contact between Brightspeed and Contractors.
Emphasize training, coaching and development of employees.
Lead a team of technicians meeting attendance and performance standards.
Represent Brightspeed with customers and governmental agencies.
Collaborate with the union to achieve productive relations.
Celebrate successes and motivate continuous improvement.
