The role emphasizes leadership, training of new hires, and collaboration with maintenance to keep conveyors and crushers running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; relevant experience accepted.
• 3–5 years in the Aggregates industry preferred.
• Supervisory or progressive leadership experience.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Effective written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize employee shifts to meet daily production goals.
• Provide input on performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Assist in training on plant systems, safety, and equipment.
• Complete daily production, safety, and maintenance reports.
• Enforce safety rules and internal standards.
• Conduct safety, housekeeping, and equipment inspections.
• Lead daily safety meetings to uphold Guardian Angel culture.
• Operate plant machinery and mobile equipment as needed.
• Coordinate preventative and emergency repairs with Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain clean, professional plant appearance reflecting quality output.
• Assist management in long-term mining plans, profit plans, and forecasts.
• Identify and order essential parts to minimize downtime.
