Brigham Young University in Utah invites applications for a FT Research Staff position in Plant & Wildlife Sciences as a Field Manager at the Utah Test and Training Range. The role oversees field operations, supervises 3–5 seasonal employees, and coordinates with USFWS and UTTR managers.

Candidates should hold a BS in wildlife management, range management, ecology, or related field with a start date in November 2026; MS is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in wildlife management, range management, ecology, or related field required.
• MS in a related field preferred and must be completed by start date.
• Experience monitoring plant and animal populations in field settings.
• Ability to analyze quantitative datasets and write annual reports.
• Experience leading field crews preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage and supervise field crews (3-5 seasonal employees) during summer months.
• Assist with data collection for UTTR natural resources projects.
• Collaborate with USFWS and UTTR managers and field staff.
