Job summary

Workspire partners with an industrial services client to hire a Field Operations Executive, Electrical in Atlanta, GA. Compensation: $200,000 - $250,000 annually

Reports To: Regional Vice President

About the Role

We are partnering with an established industrial services organization seeking a Field Operations Executive, Electrical to lead craft workforce operations and support industrial project execution in Atlanta, Georgia.

The organization self-performs the full lifecycle of heavy industrial work across electrical, mechanical, structural, soft crafts, underground utilities, fabrication, and inspection. This person will serve as the subject matter expert for an assigned service line, helping align craft capabilities, staffing, and field execution with project needs.

Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the Field Operations Executive, Electrical will oversee recruiting, dispatching, and management of craft employees while partnering with regional leadership, area management, project managers, and craft supervision. The role focuses on safe, profitable, timely, and high-quality project delivery, with regular involvement in jobsite planning, production reviews, training, and resource coordination.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee recruiting, dispatching, and management of craft employees within the assigned service line, including general, site, and area superintendents, general foremen, foremen, and discipline-specific craft personnel.
  • Assess trade competencies and align employee skills with project requirements to make effective use of the internal workforce.
  • Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly activities with regional and area management teams.
  • Ensure craft leaders coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with project management and other operational teams.
Project Planning & Execution
  • Serve as the service line subject matter expert, supporting project leadership on cost, quality, planning, and customer concerns.
  • Support estimating through bid and constructability reviews, including production rates, crew composition, equipment selection, and cost analysis.
  • Teach craft supervision to develop and manage three-week and six-week look-ahead schedules that align staffing, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other resources.
  • Visit jobsites regularly for bid walks, preconstruction reviews, progress checks, punch walks, and closeouts.
  • Participate in project status and coordination meetings and follow the organization’s standard project review cadence.
  • Review job costs and overall project performance, with particular attention to field production.
  • Partner across operations to identify opportunities for additional work and stronger customer relationships.
Safety, Quality & Team Development
  • Ensure applicable safety and environmental requirements are met and employees follow company safety policies, work rules, and procedures.
  • Apply national and local code requirements relevant to the assigned discipline.
  • Ensure employees receive the training needed to operate equipment and perform their assigned installation scopes.
  • Support on-the-job training that strengthens safe work practices, technical skills, and quality performance.
  • Conduct timely jobsite reviews to assess safety and workmanship and address concerns with field leadership.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 15 years of experience in industrial construction, including a minimum of five years as a foreman and five years as a superintendent.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple crews and at least 500 craft employees.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the assigned service line and the ability to guide craft supervision and project teams.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard job costing systems, including payroll and quantity entry.
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard scheduling software and reports, along with Microsoft Office.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and proof of insurability when driving is required. Drivers are subject to a DMV records check.
  • Completion of OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • This role includes work in outdoor, manufacturing, and industrial environments, with potential exposure to extreme heat and cold, noise above 85 decibels, strong odors, and limited visibility.
  • Jobsite responsibilities may require entering and moving within confined spaces, including tanks and vessels; climbing stairs and ladders; accessing trenches and elevated platforms or scaffolding at significant heights; and lifting equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
