Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical/mechanical technology, or at least 3 years of experience in complex machinery or industrial equipment.
• Ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally and maintain a clean driving record - Passport is required.
• Experience using Linux.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Provide technical support and maintenance services, diagnosing issues, and implementing corrective actions promptly.
• Partner with Seegrid Support, Engineering and Customer Success teams to provide the best possible resolution to customer concerns.

• Maintain detailed daily record keeping and reporting, including resolutions implemented, records of time, expenses and materials.
• Remain prepared for customer service calls which most likely require travel on short notice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Possess an advanced understanding of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Provide technical support and maintenance services, diagnosing issues, and implementing corrective actions promptly
• Partner with Seegrid Support, Engineering and Customer Success teams to provide the best possible resolution to customer concerns
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to provide feedback on performance and reliability
• Coach customer staff on safety, operation and maintenance best practices
• Maintain detailed daily record keeping and reporting, including resolutions implemented, records of time, expenses and materials
• Remain prepared for customer service calls which most likely require travel on short notice
• Take ownership of on-going skill development by engaging in regular product and software trainings
• Adhere to safety standards to maintain a safe work environment

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associates degree in electrical/mechanical technology, or at least 3 years of experience in complex machinery or industrial equipment
• Ability to work long hours in noisy and busy environments
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Strong customer interface with commitment to customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use software to diagnose issues
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to travel extensively both domestically and internationally and maintain a clean driving record - Passport is required
• Must be a highly responsible individual who can work independently and manage priorities
• Experience using Linux
