Job summary

E80 Group in Marion, NC seeks a Resident Operational Engineer to manage daily activities and coordinate field service for customer plants. The role is split 50% hands-on equipment and 50% supervision of E80 staff and customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

You will work with cross-functional teams, schedule maintenance, manage tickets in Salesforce, order parts, and monitor performance, safety, and compliance across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 2+ years in material handling, robotics, or palletizing industries.
• Strong technical background with E80 automation systems.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP and CRM (Salesforce).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first customer contact for service, including asset and system performance.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and deploy resources effectively.
• Enter and manage tickets in Salesforce and track parts orders.
• Monitor performance and implement improvements and safety measures.
