Kiewit invites you to join our Industrial District as a Field/Office Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. This hands-on internship supports construction management activities at Denver, CO or Lenexa, KS sites, with travel as needed and a path to learning through real projects.

You will develop skills across planning, cost control, scheduling, and material management while working with safety-focused teams on major industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related field; Associate's degree considered.
• Ability to work full-time during the summer (May–August).
• Willingness to travel or relocate as needed.
• Strong ethics, safety focus, and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Field engineering, planning, cost control, scheduling, and material procurement tasks.
• Maintain records of job progress, costs, and material usage.
• Assist in reviewing plans, specs, and material quantities.
• Coordinate with suppliers for delivery and expediting materials.
