Job summary

HDR is seeking an Office Engineer to support water-related construction projects in Ulster County near Ashokan Reservoir and Grahamsville, NY. The role involves reading plans, documenting site activities, tracking quantities, and coordinating with engineers and subconsultants.

Experience with NYCDEP or local water projects is preferred. Ideal candidates will hold a PE license or CCM certification, have at least 5 years of multidisciplinary construction experience, and be proficient in MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Maintain accurate daily records of contractor activities, labor, equipment and materials.
• Review materials for contract compliance and track quantities for pay estimates.
• Attend and/or chair progress meetings and supervise junior staff.
• Develop record documentation for engineer review and project closeout.
