Job summary

Luster National is offering a 10-week internship in California focusing on civil engineering and construction management. Interns will train in Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling, plan and contract reviews, and field engineering tasks, including bridge inspections under CA HSR construction.

You will work with Luster Engineers, AECOM/Fluor JV, and CAHSR, gaining exposure to project delivery, scheduling, estimating, and safety training.

Qualifications

Open to undergraduates (junior/senior) in Civil Engineering or Construction Management at a CA four-year university.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel to field sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Shadow and support the Project Manager to verify design and construction processes.
Assist in tracking, measuring, and reporting project metrics (scope, quality, risk, schedule, cost).
Learn contractor activity oversight with focus on budget, schedule, and cost controls.
Engage in field and office tasks to track and manage construction activities.
Participate in design reviews, quantity estimations, field inspections, and schedule evaluations.
Attend executive meetings and team discussions to understand project delivery.
