DBI Construction Consultants in Riverside, CA seeks a Construction Cost Estimator to join our hands-on team. You will analyze costs, timelines, and risks, visit sites to collect measurements, photos, and project details, and translate findings into practical, actionable estimates.

You’ll work with industry software like Xactimate and Bluebeam Revu, leverage advanced Excel skills, and collaborate with field staff to deliver accurate, timely estimates for diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil / mechanical / structural engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Internship in construction or risk management preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and technical reading skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; Xactimate and scheduling software experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel (~30%), meet the physical requirements, and work in varied field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site visits to collect measurements, photos, and project details.
• Support the analysis of labor, materials, and timelines for project estimates.
• Help track costs and flag differences between projected and actual figures.
• Learn to prepare professional reports and data entries in estimating tools.
• Gain exposure to industry software like Xactimate, Bluebeam Revu, and project scheduling tools.
