Job summary

Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking a Registered Nurse for field nursing roles in New Jersey. The RN will supervise and coordinate care for personal care services, oversee Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aides, and supervise nursing assessments and visits.

The role requires a valid NJ RN license, a BS in nursing or equivalent experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. Home health experience and ability to work closely with the Director/Owner are essential.

Qualifications

• Current valid RN license in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
• BS degree in nursing or related health field; or three years RN community/home health experience in lieu of BS.
• Experience providing nursing services in a patient’s home environment, including assisted living.
• Strong communication, organization, and self-motivation; good phone skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients, develop plans of care, and direct level of care and Plan of Care tasks.
• Conduct regular service calls to ensure the Plan of Care meets client needs.
• Perform in-person reassessments every 60 days or as needed due to client condition or interruption of service.
• Maintain regulatory documentation per New Jersey Board of Nursing and accrediting bodies.
• Foster relationships with clients, families, and caregivers to support retention.
• Coordinate in-services with Director/Owner for caregiver training.
