Job summary

Medtronic Neuroscience seeks a field-based Associate Clinical Specialist to support Neuromodulation Pain and Target Drug Delivery therapies within the Charleston, WV market. You will travel to multiple accounts, provide surgical and clinical support, and educate clinicians on device features and therapy options.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and willingness to cover a district, with occasional after-hours work and travel to other districts as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting neuromodulation or related therapies.
• Ability to travel to multiple accounts and cover district as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Represents Medtronic during surgical procedures by ensuring equipment and products are available, providing technical support and performing testing of device systems.
• Manages patients through the clinical process and educates them on Medtronic products and therapies.
• Provides clinical support in surgeries, re-programmings, troubleshooting and follow-ups in hospitals and clinics.
• Responds promptly to technical inquiries from customers, patients, and colleagues.
• Educates and trains physicians and staff on products and therapies, coordinating teaching sessions and in-services.
• Assists in educating new employees in the district and participates in required event reporting.
• Maintains inventory and ensures proper budgeting and expense documentation.
