Job summary

Intone Inc. is hiring a Field Engineer for a 6-month contract based in Minneapolis, MN. This hands-on role requires onsite presence with travel to project sites across the United States approximately twice per month.

You will work 40 hours per week and start as soon as possible. The responsibilities include deploying network infrastructure, configuring switches/firewalls/APs, wiring, and leading deployment activities onsite.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on field engineering or network deployment experience.
• Experience deploying switches, firewalls, wireless APs, and network racks.
• Hands-on structured and low-voltage cabling installation and troubleshooting.
• Experience leading deployment projects onsite as the technical lead.
• Ability to coordinate and supervise subcontractors or installation teams.
• Willingness to travel approximately twice per month to US project sites.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and install switches, firewalls, wireless APs, and racks at customer sites.
• Perform hands-on network setup, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Install structured cabling and low-voltage systems.
• Coordinate and supervise rack builds and cabling contractors.
• Mount AV equipment and set up conferencing gear as required.
• Serve as onsite technical lead and communicate project updates to customers.
• Travel nationwide to project sites; manage deployments and schedules.
• Ensure deployments stay on time and coordinate with subcontractors.
